• The idea for the "Voices of Hope" Sing-a-Thon originated out of the Eastview High School Women's Chorale under the direction of Judy Sagen, as a way to use singing talents to raise monies for a good cause.
• The Sing-a-Thon will benefit the Angel Foundation, a Minnesota non-profit organization which provides financial assistance for basic non-medical living necessities for cancer patients and their families.
• A goal of $25,000 has been set and will be achieved by a combination of performance fees, participant sponsors, corporate sponsorship, audience ticket sales, a choir clinic for elementary school students, and merchandise/food sales.
• No gift of time or money is ever too small, and the value of these contributions is echoed in the words of gratitude expressed by those served.
